Hi!! I’m in need of some money for a vet visit for Shiva. I just spent a good amount on his new habitat and he’s come up with a calcium deficiency problem. My mom works 9-5 so I can’t get him to the vet until the weekend but I really need money for that.
A visit to the herpetologist is 65$, not including treatment for him and I cannot burden my mom with that (she just took care of a large vet bill for her cat)
He’s a really sweet boy and I hope I’m not asking too much but can people please signal boost this? Calcium deficiency causes immense pain in bearded dragons and when it’s severe it can lead to permanent problems and even death. I love my baby so much and it pains me to see him have to deal with this.

update on shiva: he is currently in intensive care at a reptile hospital. his kidneys are being flushed, and he is going to get vitamins and minerals in his body. his phosphorus levels were higher than the blood test could even read and it’s harming his kidneys and calcium level. the bill today (just for a blood test and an appointment) was 175$ and this isnt counting the days he is staying to be treated.
i’m now in very serious need of help for him, literally any signal boosting will help me. he is like my child and i love him so much, i will literally do anything i can for donations, i know how to knit so i could knit things?? im trying my best to be the best beardie mama i can be

Recently, Edmund McMillen opened up a BigCartel with his wife, and one of the products they were selling was the Unholy Edition of The Binding Of Isaac. With the Unholy Edition came a new Steam key, and since I obviously already own the game, I’ve decided to give away the Steam key.

So, as some of you may know, I recently got a job working with the Human Rights Campaign. I really love the job and it’s incredibly rewarding, but the sheer amount of people I talk to every day that don’t know what we’re fighting for is a little bit scary. If you haven’t heard about HRC, or have and you haven’t heard about our latest campaign, here’s some info:
Right now, in 29 states in America, it’s legal to be fired for being gay. Odds are better than not that you’re living in a state where you can’t be fired for your religion or your sex or creed, but you can be fired for your sexual orientation or your gender identity. Here’s a map:
We at HRC are working to pass a bill in congress (ENDA) that would end this type of employment discrimination. We’re being opposed, though, and that’s where this giveaway comes in.
The winner of this giveaway will be given a free pass to buy anything they want at the HRC store- up to a total of $50 (including shipping). All of the money from the purchase- yes, a full 100%- will go towards our campaign. Here are the rules:
- Reblogs and likes count! You can obviously only like this post once, but you can reblog up to 3 times. Any more reblogs and you’re disqualified.
